Hi and welcome to my blog today's blog is about the time I went to a zoo with my class and Tz the other class. The park is called Orana Park some of you might know this park some don't if you haven't gone I recommended you go.I hope you enjoy my blog post today.
On Monday Tz and my class when to Orana Park we meet in the learning commons there was a van and a bus. I was putted in the bus the bus ride on the way there was boring. When we got the we when thorough some safety rules and stuff.The first thing we saw was the meerkats then we walked to the reptile room. The women who was showing us around told us a little bit about the reptile room nothing that exciting. Inside the reptile room there was lizards and geckos etc. We were aloud to bring our phones to take photos of course I took photos.After that we went to see the spider monkeys they were inside so we didn't get to see much. Next we saw the kea the kea are one of the cheekiest birds I know some there were two kea's they have different colours. This is probably the animal everyone is waiting for the loins. The lions had no manes and they were adorable the lions were all family and there manes were shaved so they don't bread. The next animal was well I don't know what its called so I will call it a Giselle they were so cute. There was a big kiwi that we all took a photo in. PE
Hello and welcome to my blog as usual I will explain what I've been doing and that's what I am going to do. I am going to tell you what I have been doing in the past week in PE. hope you enjoy.
The first thing I am gong to talk about is the maths you would think what maths in PE yes I will explain.The maths problem is to try and work out how much paint and how much money dose it cost for the field to get painted.The strategies we used were time table because the paint bucket 2 litres and the cover 20 meters then we would just times it until we get the answer.I learnt a some things but the ones I want to tell you are there are many way you can work out a problem.Then on Monday we did bench ball but before we do bench ball we had to warm up.Why do we need to do warm ups?we need to do warm ups because it wakes you for you to get read for you to try your best.The warm ups we did were 20 star jumps then we did high knees and jogging.Then there was the drills the drill was sneak up granny some people might know this game its were you try sneak up on someone with out getting seen. The drill was really enjoyable. Before the big game the year 7 vs the other year 7 and the year 8 vs the other year 8.Then the big game was year 8 vs year 7 of course the year 8 won.I am an out-stander because I showed resilience when I was playing the game.I work successfully with others because I call out to the person with the ball when I am free.I understand how my feelings and actions affect others because when I am working with my team they feel good but when I am not working with them they feel sad.My overall thought of PE this week is it was pretty good I enjoyed this week of PE.Thank you for reading and have a lovely day.

CIP Gardening
Hello and welcome to today's blog today's blog is about what we did in CIP. Thank you and i hope you enjoy my blog today.
In today's CIP we when down to the garden and on the way there the trees were now covered in blossoms.The big tree in the garden that was just sticks and had no leaves and now its is beautiful covered in flowers.When we got to the garden we had to pull of the plastic tarp on the garden underneath the the tarp there were tiny little weeds.The plants are bigger but there were thousand of the tiny weeds.There are sections of gardens we had to pull out the weeds its was agonising but we did it.In another group was pulling out the sticky weed. sticky weed is a the worst to deal with it sticks to everything most of the your clothes.When I was pulling out the weeds my hand got really dirty when is was finished.Today I thought was really good even though we didn't do much. Ella west

Ella West came to our school this morning and talked to us about her books. How and why did she deiced to talk to us in some classes and in some reading groups they are reading one of her books and blogging about her books.Ella West saw some of the blog posts and wanted to talk to us some people haven't read it yet she didn't want to spoil it for the people who hasn't read it.
Ella West also talked about some her other books like Rain Fall and she gave us a sneak peek of the book she working on right now. She also talked about how she used google maps for her writing.How she used google maps is when she doesn't know what the place looks like she research the place.
