What is another experiment you could do using chromatography and how would you do it.

Title: Fingerprint / Police Chromatography

Aim: To find out how you make fingerprint powder and how it works.

Materials: Corn Starch, Measuring Cup, Matches or Lighter, A Candle, A Ceramic Bowl, A Knife or Paint Brush, A Mixing Bowl.

Materials;

1. skittles
2. flat container
3. water


Process:

Step 1:first get your container
Step 2:next evenly place out your skittles around the sides of the container
Step 3:then pour the water in the container
Step 4:lastly watch the reaction

Aim to get the colours to spread out

Materials 

1. filter paper

2. felt pens

3. water

4. pencil

5. ruler

6. paper cup

Process:

Step 1:draw a 1 cm line on your paper then a 2 cm line on your paper 

Step 2:next draw a circle with all your color felts on your one cm line 

Step 3:then fold the paper on the 2 cm line and place the paper on the edge of the cup

Step 4:After that pour the water in the cup so that the water is on the 1 cm line and down is covered in water.

Step 5: Watch the colors and water dissolve up the paper.

Findings: what happened.
so what happened is the colours spread up the paper

Hi this post is going to be about how to make a chemical reaction with baking soda and vinegar and what we need to make this chemical reaction.


Our goal is to make a chemical reaction.

What materials we need:
baking soda
vinegar
2cups
tray 
teaspoon

First get your materials/equipment and then place your two cups in the tray add one or two teaspoons of baking soda in one of the cups then slowly add your vinegar. Then watch the reaction it should look like the foam from a soda. If it didn't work put vingar in the other cup then put the baking soda but it would most likely work the first time.

Process - ( use verbs or doing words in each step )

Step 1Cut the bottle

Put the top half upside down 

STEP 3

Add layers of flitter paper sand and pebbles

STEP 4

Get 1 cup of dirty water

STEP 5

Pour dirty water into the filter

How it when in our group so we put the filter paper in the bottle and the sand and pebbles but we thought we didn't have enough sand so we put sand on top of the pebbles and pebbles on top of the so we just put another layer on and it came out vary slowly but it was vary clear.
