Hello and welcome to my blog today's blog is about the screen painting we did in textiles.
For the practical, we had to make a design that covers the whole piece of paper and cut out the design. With a screen, you put your newspaper down and then your design on the card that has been cut as you can see in the photo.
Then add your paint and spread it across the sheet like this
The end result should look like this
Thank you for reading my blog

Aim: To produce copper sulfate salt by reacting copper oxide with acid.
Equipment: Copper oxide powder, dilute (0.5 mol L-1) sulfuric acid, 50 mL measuring cylinder, two 100 mL beakers, bunsen burner, tripod, gauze mat, funnel, filter paper, thermometer, spatula, evaporating stirring rod.
Method:
1. Add 20 mL of sulfuric acid to a 100 mL beaker. Heat the acid until it reaches 70°C. Turn off your bunsen burner.
2. Once heated, use a spatula to add pea-sized portions of copper oxide to the beaker. stir the mixture for 30 seconds.
3. repeat step 2 until no more will dissolve. Allow the beaker to cool.
4. Fold the filter paper and place it in the funnel. Place the filter funnel into the second beaker.
5. Make sure the beaker is cool enough to hold at the top. The contents should still be hot. You may need your teacher to complete this step.
6. Gently swirl the contents of the beaker to mix, and then pour into the filter paper in the funnel. Allow to filter through.
7. Rinse the beaker you used to heat the mixture previously, and place it back on top of your tripod filled with 50-60 mL of water.
8. place the evaporating basin on top of the beaker and carefully pour some of the solutions from the beaker into the evaporating basin.
9. Gently heat the beaker until the solution in the evaporating basin has reduced by half.
10. Leave the evaporating basin to cool. Once cool, move the evaporating basin to a warm place where it will not be disturbed ( i.e. Window-sill ) and observe over the next few days. Blue copper sulfate crystals should form.
Hello and welcome to my blog this blog is about me finding a song that Anti-Vietnam war. The song I chose was war what is it good for. In the green highlighter, I explained some parts of the song.
Lyrics
War, huh, yeah What is it good for This is saying that war is not needed to make peace and it good for nothing Absolutely nothingand Vietnam has been told to be the most useless war and that the war War, huh, yeah wasn't worth it for what they lost. What is it good for Absolutely nothing Say it again, why'all
War, huh, good god What is it good for Absolutely nothing, listen to me
Oh, war, I despise 'Cause it means destruction of innocent lives These words from this part of the song show that
War means tears to thousands of mothers eyes the innocent lives that were killed still are affecting now When their sons go to fight And lose their lives
I said, war, huh good god, why'all What is it good for Absolutely nothing say it again
War, whoa, lord What is it good for Absolutely nothing, listen to me
it ain't nothing but a heart-breaker (War) friend only to the undertaker Oh, war it's an enemy to all mankind The point of war blows my mind War has caused unrest Within the younger generation Induction then destruction Who wants to die, ah, war-huh, good god why'all What is it good for Absolutely nothing Say it, say it, say it War, huh What is it good for Absolutely nothing listen to me
it ain't nothing but a heart breaker (War) it's got one friend that's the undertaker Oh, war, has shattered many a young mans dreams Made him disabled, bitter and mean Life is much to short and precious To spend fighting wars these days War can't give life It can only take it away
Oh, war, huh good god why'all What is it good for Absolutely nothing say it again
whoa, lord What is it good for Absolutely nothing listen to me
it ain't nothing but a heart breaker (War) friend only to the undertaker Peace, love and understanding Tell me, is there no place for them today They say we must fight to keep our freedom But lord knows there's got to be a better way
Oh, war, huh good god why'all What is it good for you tell me Say it, say it, say it, say it
huh good god why'all What is it good for
Stand up and shout it nothing
